Coordinated Optimal Dispatch of Power Systems Considering the Renewable Energy Integration Rate
With the large-scale integration of renewable energy sources such as wind and photovoltaic power into the grid, the challenge of new energy consumption has become increasingly prominent. This paper proposes a hierarchical optimal dispatching method considering new energy consumption. The designed hierarchical optimization framework consists of two layers. The upper-layer model aims to minimize net load fluctuations, giving full play to the peak-shaving and valley-filling function of energy storage devices. The lower-layer model focuses on the dual-objective optimization of minimizing the operation cost of thermal power units and the amount of curtailed renewable energy. Multi-scenario simulations on the SG-126 bus system demonstrate that the proposed dispatching strategy significantly enhances the system's ability to consume renewable energy and improves overall operational economy.
