PROPOSTA DE PLANOS DE AÇÃO PARA UMA GESTÃO EFICAZ DE ESTOQUES EM UMA EMPRESA VAREJISTA DE ALIMENTOS DE MÉDIO PORTE

For a medium-sized food retail organization to be efficient and effective in its operations, competent inventory management is essential. In this context, controlling and managing inventory assertively is a fundamental condition for success. Thus, the objective of this article is to propose action plans using the 5W2H tool to operationalize more effective inventory control. To achieve this objective, an exploratory research with a qualitative approach was conducted, based on a case study method in a food retail organization. The results were obtained through interviews with three employees and an analysis of the company's internal processes. The application of the 5W2H tool allowed the organization to accurately identify what needs to be controlled, where items are located, when checks should occur, and who is responsible for each stage of the process. This methodology aims to strengthen inventory management operations, ensuring that the company efficiently meets customer demands, optimizes resources, and reduces operational costs.
