Políticas de Inclusión Laboral para Promover el Bienestar Social de los Trabajadores en la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi
Justification: labor inclusion policies aim to promote the integration of workers into the workplace, regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnicity, or other characteristics. Objective: to describe the labor inclusion policies implemented at the Technical University of Cotopaxi, focused on promoting the social well-being of employees. These actions are framed within principles of equality and non-discrimination established in national and international human rights instruments. Methodology: qualitative approach, descriptive and cross-sectional scope, under a non-experimental design. The sample consisted of eleven workers selected through purposive sampling; data were collected via semi-structured interviews validated by expert judgment and analyzed using discourse analysis techniques. Results: the findings indicated that the university meets the labor inclusion percentage required by regulations, representing a significant advancement. Limitations were identified due to a lack of awareness, empathy in interpersonal relationships, and the absence of infrastructure adjustments. Conclusion: the UTC has established a solid regulatory framework and made progress in guaranteeing rights; however, it is essential to strengthen policies through sustainable training and support programs to achieve genuine labor inclusion.
