The phenomenon of german word formation from a linguodidactical perspective
Expanding vocabulary is an indispensable part of foreign language didactics, which has a fundamental influence on successful language acquisition. An expanded vocabulary forms the foundation of effective communication in a foreign language. The ability to express oneself precisely and in a differentiated manner is not only a sign of language competence, but also an essential tool in everyday language use. The importance of expanding vocabulary extends to the understanding of both written and spoken content, which makes it possible to understand texts and conversations more comprehensively. This not only promotes understanding of the language itself, but also opens up insights into the cultural contexts and intricacies of the target language.
