Reflectance for epsilon-near-zero aluminum-doped zinc oxide metamaterial
In this work, we used Fresnel equations to analyze epsilon-near-zero aluminum-doped zinc oxide metamaterials’ reflectance at various polarizations and angles of incidences. We found that reflectance for p-polarized light exhibits a distinctive dip at the vicinity of the epsilon-near-zero spectral point for the small angles of incidence. The various samples analysis shows that reflectance for TM-polarized incident light for samples with higher optical losses leads to a sharper feature in the reflectance spectra.
