Tailor-made 3D-printed phantoms for metrology of quantitative phase imaging systems in biomedical applications
Quantitative Phase Imaging (QPI) has emerged as a powerful tool in advanced biological and pharmacological research. However, there are no standardized reference materials and methods for testing and reporting the metrological performance of QPI systems. In this paper, we introduce a tailor-made 3D-printed phantom derived from phase images of cells and organoids as well as propose and implement the procedures for evaluating and comparing the performance of 2D and 3D QPI systems.
