Levitation optomechanics on a chip

We present our latest progress at the interface of optomechanics and nanophotonics. Two different scenarios are discussed: (1) meta-optics interfaced with planar electrodes to control the dynamics of trapped nanoparticles in vacuum. (2) Levitation of meta-atoms enabling further control over amplitude and sign of optical forces.

Abstract

We present our latest progress at the interface of optomechanics and nanophotonics. Two different scenarios are discussed: (1) meta-optics interfaced with planar electrodes to control the dynamics of trapped nanoparticles in vacuum. (2) Levitation of meta-atoms enabling further control over amplitude and sign of optical forces.
