Pulse-wave measurement system using compound-eye camera
This study proposes a non-contact pulse wave measurement system that uses a compound-eye camera to capture fingertip images through filters of different wavelengths. This method enhances the redundancy of video pulse wave estimation. Using a four-lens camera, three near-infrared wavelength images and a color image were simultaneously acquired, and pulse wave signals were extracted from the luminance changes in the video. A high correlation coefficient of 0.93 was obtained in comparison with a sensor, demonstrating that accurate pulse wave measurement is possible without physical contact.
