Microlens Array for Broadband Directional Control of Thermal Radiation

A microarray of hypo-hemispherical lenses patterned on flexible infrared transparent substrates can control the polar transmission and reflection of broadband infrared radiation. Selection of geometric parameters and materials allows tuneability in the angular transmission range.
