Planar gate solid-state organic electrochemical transistors for sensing/biosensing

This work explores solid-state organic electrochemical transistors (ss-OECTs) with a planar gate geometry, utilizing various channel and solid electrolyte materials. These ss-OECTs are capable of being reused for sensing multiple analytes when configured in an extended gate setup. The detection of targets is reflected in changes to key figures of merit of the ss-OECT.

Abstract

This work explores solid-state organic electrochemical transistors (ss-OECTs) with a planar gate geometry, utilizing various channel and solid electrolyte materials. These ss-OECTs are capable of being reused for sensing multiple analytes when configured in an extended gate setup. The detection of targets is reflected in changes to key figures of merit of the ss-OECT.
