Design of correlated disordered metasurfaces for light trapping in (ultra-)thin film solar cells
In this talk, we present a method to create correlated disordered metasurfaces with independent control of angular and spectral scattering response. It is founded on reverse-engineering the Fourier space and blob detection, incorporating a decoration step to leverage individual resonances in nano-scatterers. We demonstrate its effectiveness by optimizing light trapping in (ultra-)thin film solar cells using earth-abundant zinc phosphide.
