Healthcare Delivery and Agricultural Sector Output: An Empirical Analysis from Nigeria

This study examines the impact of healthcare delivery on agricultural sector output using multiple regression analysis over the annual data of 1986 to 2023 sourced from Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin. The result of this study shows that life expectancy and mortality rate have significant impact on the agricultural sector output in Nigeria which means that agricultural output is highly stimulated on healthcare. The study recommends that action must be taken simultaneously on multiple fronts to expand the reach of primary health care and enhance its performance, including the implementation of performance incentives to enhance service delivery, new delivery models to expand access, and a larger role for private and nonprofit organizations in service delivery, this will inevitably help the agriculture industry
