The presence of nature in the city through urban parks is invaluable for both the quality of life of city dwellers and the preservation of biodiversity. These green spaces are essential for making cities more livable and fostering a harmonious relationship between nature and the urban environment. This study aims to highlight the role of nature in the city of Constantine through the 'Djebel El-Ouahch' park, with the goal of promoting its sustainable use. It seeks to identify the park's strengths for development and the challenges that may hinder its growth. To this end, we adopted a participatory diagnostic method, including a site inventory supported by visual observation. The results allowed us to identify the challenges involved, with the aim of improving the park and enhancing its attractiveness.
