EXAMINING THE STRATEGIES USED BY WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS TO MITIGATE WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT ACROSS VARIOUS AGE GROUPS: AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS
Taking care of an entrepreneurial venture is a challenging task what makes it a stronger challenge for women entrepreneurs is to balance both work and family expectation without faltering at either. Work-family conflict (WFC) poses a significant challenge for women entrepreneurs in India, necessitating the adoption of various mitigation strategies. This study highlights from the literature various strategies used by Indian women entrepreneurs to mitigate WFC and identifying among them the most commonly used strategies across different age groups using empirical data. The findings indicate that prioritization, delegation, boundary-setting, and support-seeking are commonly adopted strategies, with variations in the use of technology and self-care practices. The results provide insights into how women entrepreneurs navigate work-life balance challenges and offer implications for policy and support mechanisms.
