Research of Geometric Accuracy and Print Quality in Additive Manufacturing by FDM
The paper discusses 3D printing technology, specifically the Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) method, which enables the rapid and efficient creation of models and prototypes in a variety of industries. The experiment focused on comparing the results of 3D printing using G3DMaker and Simplify3D software. The effects of printing technology parameters, such as layer height and printing temperature, on the geometric and dimensional accuracy of the products were also investigated. The results indicated that different combinations of process parameter settings, as well as the software used, can lead to different print results and print quality. The importance of understanding the impact of software settings and process parameters in FDM 3D printing on achieving the desired accuracy, geometry and print quality is highlighted. The experiment showed that proper tuning of these parameters can be the key to improving the quality and accuracy of 3D printed products.
