Caste is the reality of Indian society. Playing a vital role. Sociologist Mujumdar defines it as “Closed group”. Caste is a complex and evolving structure, it continues to shape cultural, social, political, and economic sectors of the society. It has deep influence among the people and rooted in ancient traditions. Over the years the caste system transferring deeply in its nature. The change occur due to modern education, colonial rule and people perception towards Caste system. The social evil like untouchability has declining significantly in recent years. Yet there are many instances available that the downtrodden people of the society facing social disparity in the name of caste. Keeping all the above aspects in mind the present research paper is intended to find out the transforming aspects or caste dynamics and youth perception regarding caste system with a sociological point of view.
