Digital Education as a Tool for Management Teaching: Between Innovations, Implementation Challenges, and Impacts on Professional Training
Considering the growing innovation in educational processes and the transformations in the labor market, it becomes necessary to understand the function of digital education in the training of managers. The aim is to analyze how the integration of digital technologies and methodologies in management education can contribute to the development of technical competencies, while also facing challenges related to its implementation. For this purpose, a theoretical-reflective approach is adopted, based on references concerning pedagogical innovation, digital education, and professional training. It is observed that digital education fosters more dynamic, collaborative, and contextualized practices, promoting student autonomy and closer alignment with the real demands of the profession. However, structural, cultural, and formative barriers remain, hindering the consolidation of such practices. It is concluded that digital education, when integrated in a critical and well-planned manner, constitutes a strategic tool for management education, capable of driving pedagogical innovation and enhancing the training of managers prepared for contemporary challenges. In this sense, it is important to understand educational management as a specific sector whose structured purpose can enhance such processes.
