The Vicious Cycle of Glymphatic Dysfunction, Chronic Inflammation, and Neurodegenerative Disorders
Motivation: The study is motivated by the need to understand why an impaired glymphatic system contributes to the pathogenesis of nearly all neurodegenerative disorders. Goal(s): The objective is to demonstrate that chronic inflammation, glymphatic dysfunction, and neurodegenerative disorders form a vicious cycle Approach: A comprehensive literature review and analysis of experimental data were conducted. Results: Summarize key results of the study that show how well you achieved the goals: chronic inflammation, glymphatic dysfunction, and neurodegenerative disorders form a vicious cycle Impact: It highlights how chronic inflammation facilitates the interplay between glymphatic dysfunction and neurodegenerative diseases. Disrupting this cycle could provide new therapeutic avenues for treating neurodegenerative conditions.
