Centric View-ordering Variable-density Sampling with Motion Correction for Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping
Motivation: Centric view-ordering variable-density (centric VD) sampling has potential advantages for motion correction but has not been well studied in QSM. Goal(s): To establish a robust QSM acquisition protocol with highly undersampled k-space. Approach: The performance of centric VD sampling in both image magnitude and phase was assessed by simulation and in vivo 3D QSM. Results: Centric VD sampling strategy has the advantage over regular sampling with similar sampling rate for both motion-corrected magnitude and phase images from simulation, and improved intraclass correlation coefficients for QSM with a short acquisition. Impact: This work provides a fast robust QSM acquisition protocol for reducing measurement sensitivity to motion.
