Early Monitoring of Immunotherapy Efficacy in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer by Granzyme B-Responsive MR/NIR Fluorescence Imaging

Motivation: It is of great significance to predict the efficacy of immunotherapy at an early stage and avoid over-treatment of patients with low immune response. Goal(s): Using molecular imaging technology to monitor the immunotherapy-related biomarkers is expected to predict the therapeutic effect of TNBC immunotherapy at an early stage. Approach: The granzyme B-responsive MR/NIR fluorescent probe was constructed for molecular imaging. Results: The MR/NIR fluorescence imaging showed that the probe was activated by granzyme B in tumor with immunotherapy or chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy. Impact: Early prediction of the efficacy of immunotherapy is of great significance for optimizing the treatment plan in time and avoiding overtreatment of patients with low response.
