Compressed Sensing High Temporal Resolution (HTR) Dynamic Contrast-enhanced MR Imaging in Detecting Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor
Motivation: Detection of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs) is crucial for effective diagnosis and treatment. Goal(s): To evaluate the role of compressed sensing high temporal resolution (HTR) dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI in pNET detection Approach: Patients with clinical suspicion of pNETs underwent HTR dynamic MRI, with histopathology as the reference standard. Results: Among 13 patients with 27 confirmed lesions, HTR detected 81.48% of tumors, significantly improving detection compared to equivalent pancreatic phase imaging. HTR MRI extends the temporal window for identifying pNET hyperenhancement, enhancing diagnostic accuracy. Impact: HTR MRI extends the temporal window for identifying pNET hyperenhancement, enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
