Diagnostic and predictive potential of multiple b-value DWI for allograft dysfunction after kidney transplantation during follow-up
Motivation: Early estimate and monitor of renal function are important to guide clinical intervention and reduce complications. DWI as a noninvasive technique is considered to be a powerful tool for evaluating and longitudinal follow-up of kidney allograft function. Goal(s): To evaluate the ability of multi-b-value DWI to follow-up monitor function and predict allograft dysfuction. Approach: The diffusion parameters of allograft generated from multi-b-value DWI at 14d, 30d, 90d after kidney tranplantation were obtained. eGFR during follow-up were collected. Results: Multiple b-value DWI provides a useful tool for noninvasive longitudinal follow-up allograft function, and the parameters early after transplantation can predict allograft dysfunction. Impact: The parameters generated from multi-b-value DWI may help to improve the monitoring ability for follow-up of allograft function. The parameters in the early stage can provide a certain complementary role for predict dysfunction and adjustment of the follow-up program.
