The value of DWI and IVIM for predicting the outcome of adenomyosis-associated infertile patients before transferring frozen-thawed embryos
Motivation: The of embryo frozen-thawed transfer with GnRH-a pretreatment of adenomyosis-associated infertile patients are still controversial, despite its significance in clinical practice. Goal(s): To assess the predictive capability of intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion‐weighted (IVIM) imaging before transferring embryos in identifying adenomyosis-associated infertile patients' outcome. Approach: IVIM-DWI of 19 adenomyosis-associated infertile patients who underwent GnRH-a pretreatment and frozen-thawed embryo transfers were obtained.ADC, D,D* and f of adenomyosis could be calculated. Results: ADC in pregnancy group is significantly higher than that in non-pregnancy group (p =0.021),but remain no significant difference. Impact: The DWI of adenomyosis before transferring embryos may have the potential capability to predict the pregnancy outcome of adenomyosis-associated infertile patients pretreated by GnRH-a before transferring frozen-thawed embryos, which need further study.
