AMR For Luggage Delivery Robot with Navigation Using Lidar and 3D Camera
This paper presents the development of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for hotel luggage delivery using ROS 2. A review of 14 research papers identifies key technologies and challenges in AMR implementation. LiDAR, 3D cameras, and a stable drive base are found essential for obstacle avoidance and load handling. Efficient processing is also crucial for real-time navigation. The study addresses limitations in LiDAR accuracy and ROS 2 control, proposing improvements such as sensor fusion, better user interfaces, and automated docking. This work supports the growing demand for automation and contactless service in hospitality environments.
