Distributed Dual-Mode Energy Management for AC Microgrids via Prespecified-Time Dynamic Event-Triggered Approach

This article investigates how to quickly and flexibly solve the dual-mode energy management (EM) problem of AC microgrids. A novel prespecified-time lemma is proposed that can achieve exact convergence and prespecify the convergent time. By using this lemma, a new distributed optimization algorithm based on a prespecified-time dynamic event-triggered (DET) approach is devised. The DET mechanism sets an internal dynamic variable as the triggering threshold to economize communication resources, meanwhile getting rid of dependence on the neighbor’s information. In addition, a state-decomposition mechanism is adopted to protect the security of incremental cost information in directed graphs. At last, the effectiveness and the superiority of the algorithm have been verified through simulations.
