Vector spin chirality locked topological hall effect in kagome lattice with purely in-plane magnetization
Abstract The spin texture properties of chiral materials are closely correlated with their optical activity and other physical characteristics. Notably, configurations exhibiting an out-of-plane magnetization component show similarities to the (quantized) anomalous Hall state. Here, we theoretically investigate vector spin chirality κ -locked topological Hall effect in spin-orbit-coupled kagome systems in a special case: with purely in-plane magnetization. It is shown that left-handed and right-handed spin textures correspond to topologically nontrivial and trivial phases, respectively. Nonlocal measurements in six-terminal Hall bars also support the distinct transport features.
