Bacopa bustamanteana (Plantaginaceae, Gratioleae), a new species from veredas of central Brazilian Cerrado, and the reinstatement of B. ciliata

In this contribution, we describe and illustrate Bacopa bustamanteana , a new species restricted to humid grasslands and veredas from central Brazilian Cerrado. We provide photographs, line drawings and information on its taxonomic affinities, geographic distribution, and conservation status. Additionally, we compare the new species with B. serpyllifolia and propose the reinstatement of B. ciliata . Finally, we present an identification key for species of B. sect. Chaetodiscus native in Brazil.
