Knowledge of Rural Credit among Farmers of Udaipur Districts, Rajasthan

AbstractThe present study to assess the knowledge of rural credit of farmers was conducted in Badgaon and Girwa Panchayat Samities of Udaipur Rajasthan. Sample of 200 farmers was selected randomly and interview technique was used for data collection. Frequency, Percentage, mean per cent scores were used for analysis of data. Findings reveals that more than half of farmers (57.5%) had poor knowledge about rural credit while 24% had average knowledge of rural credit and only 18.5% of respondents had good knowledge.
