High‐Efficiency Energy Storage: High Entropy Materials Design and Interface Regulation Mechanism

Abstract With the continuous growth of energy demand, efficient energy storage technologies have become a global focus. High‐entropy materials possess high structural and performance stability as well as excellent electrochemical properties, enabling these materials to exhibit great application potential in cutting‐edge fields such as energy storage. This paper systematically explores the design principles of high‐entropy materials with the aim of developing lithium‐ion battery materials with high capacity and long cycle life. Meanwhile, the article deeply analyzes the influence of the interface regulation mechanism on the lithium‐ion battery performance of high‐entropy materials. Finally, in view of the current research status, the application of high‐entropy materials in lithium‐ion batteries is envisioned, and some improvement strategies are proposed, such as combining computational methods with machine learning for material design and synthesis and exploring strategies such as multi‐anion systems. The research findings of this paper not only provide a theoretical basis for the application of high‐entropy materials in the field of efficient energy storage but also point out the direction for the development and optimization of subsequent new energy storage materials, which is of great significance for promoting the interdisciplinary integration of materials science and the energy field.
