The Impact of the Interaction Between Resonant Leadership and Digital Passion on the Utilization of Artificial Intelligence: An Analytical Study in the Hospitals of the Medical City Directorate in Baghdad
The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent to which hospitals affiliated with the Baghdad Medical City Directorate adopt resonant leadership and digital passion, as well as to reveal the nature and direction of the relationship between resonant leadership, digital passion, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in these hospitals. Additionally, the study aimed to determine whether the interaction between resonant leadership and digital passion influences the use of AI. The significance of this research lies in providing a philosophical framework for understanding the nature of modern administrative variables and highlighting the real gap resulting from a lack of awareness regarding the importance of these variables in the business environment. To achieve this objective, the researchers developed a hypothetical model and formulated three hypotheses based on the research problem and its related questions. A questionnaire was designed as the study instrument, employing a purposive sampling method and utilizing a descriptive analytical approach. A variety of statistical methods were applied, including multiple linear regression analysis and correlation analysis, to test the study hypotheses. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 184 heads of departments and sections within the hospitals of the Baghdad Medical City Directorate. The results indicated a statistically significant effect of resonant leadership on the application of AI in the hospitals affiliated with the Baghdad Medical City Directorate at a significance level of 0.05, as well as a statistically significant impact of digital passion on the use of AI in these hospitals at the same significance level. Furthermore, the interaction between the dimensions of resonant leadership and the dimensions of digital passion demonstrated a statistically significant effect on the application of AI at a significance level of 0.05. In light of these findings, the study recommended that hospitals enhance their strategies regarding resonant leadership and digital passion, and design and implement specialized training programs that meet the needs of employees in areas related to the application of AI. This will contribute to improving the efficiency of informed decision-making processes and achieving sustainable digital transformation.
