A novel 1D van der Waals V2PS<i>x</i>Se10−<i>x</i> (<i>x</i> = 7–10) anode for enhanced electrochemical kinetics and high-rate performance <i>via</i> Se alloying in lithium-ion batteries
Selenium-alloyed V 2 PS 9 Se in 1D van der Waals materials boosts lithium-ion battery anode performance via atomic-level charge modulation and accelerated electron highways along V–S chains, achieving 83% capacity retention after 400 cycles at 1 A g −1 .
