Soviet Rear in Historical and Legal Sources: Concepts, Classification, Research Methods
The history of the Soviet rear during the Great Patriotic War remains in the focus of the humanities. Scientific interest in wartime issues persists for many reasons, including the need for a new understanding of the ever — expanding source base, the preservation of historical memory of the great feat of the Soviet people, and opposition to falsifications of the results of the War. Legal source studies is designed to solve these problems. On the one hand, it allows us to study the source of law as a phenomenon of legal reality, on the other hand, considering it in all its interrelations with other historical sources as a medium of information, it makes it possible to reveal the full range of historical and legal aspects. The completeness of such information largely depends on the range of legal and non-legal sources involved in scientific research. The totality of such materials can be designated as a set of historical and legal sources designed to solve the problems of specific historical legal research. The scientific search is proposed to be carried out on the basis of an interdisciplinary approach, which makes it possible to comprehensively reveal the complex interrelationships between various fields of scientific knowledge about law and legal reality. The interdisciplinary space ensures the integration of cognitive methods, allows science to reach a higher level of formation of new knowledge about the legal life of society. The article reveals the content of the concepts of the Soviet hinterland, a historical and legal source, and shows the methodology and technology of forming a set of legal and non-legal sources to solve the problems of specific historical legal research.
