Improving the accessibility of specialized medical care for students based on the principle of its closer to the place of study.
The study is aimed at studying the ways to increase the availability of specialized medical care for students by bringing medical institutions and specialists closer to the places of the educational process. The main objective of the study is to develop practical measures aimed at improving the conditions for providing qualified medical care to students of higher educational institutions and professional educational organizations. Materials and methods. The study was conducted within the framework of the regional program for the prevention of ophthalmological diseases with visual impairment among students of universities of the Voronezh Region for 2025–2030. To study the incidence of GD, statistical forms No. 12, 14, 30 from official sources of information of the Ministry of Health of the VO were analyzed. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of the collected information is carried out, which makes it possible to identify the dominant types of diseases, characteristic age groups, and features of the spread of eye diseases among students of universities of the VO. To build an optimal scheme for the placement and functioning of ophthalmological centers, the methods of linear programming, graph theory and cluster analysis were used. Statistical processing was performed using the statistical analysis software package and the Chart Wizard in Microsoft Excel 2010, as well as the STATISTICA 6.0 application software package. Research results. The developed mathematical model is aimed at solving an important social problem – increasing the availability of specialized medical care for students by optimizing the location of medical organizations and specialists near places of study. The model is designed to ensure the effective distribution of medical resources and minimize the time students spend visiting medical institutions. Conclusions. The use of this mathematical model can significantly improve the quality and efficiency of medical care for students, reduce absence from classes due to illness and contribute to the growth of the general health of the younger generation.
