Emprendedores en el cosmos: una aproximación al orden institucional cambiante de la astropolítica
This paper proposes an approach to the emerging dynamics of outer space. The infrastructure deployed in this territory, the promises of colonization, and a renewed interest in interplanetary missions underline its increasing relevance. At the same time, regulatory initiatives suggest that this “final frontier” is undergoing a process of enclosure or privatization. The text is divided into three central sections: a functional-structural approach, an intentional-strategic approach, and a section devoted to NewSpace, followed by concluding reflections weighing the explanatory potential of these perspectives. We aim to characterize what is structurally possible and necessary, as well as the actions adopted by actors seeking to capture the wealth promised by the incorporation of this new territory into an expanding world-system.
