Fortalecimiento de la Praxis del Plan Vida en el Cabildo Morroy

The study sought to strengthen the knowledge of the Zenú Life Plan and cultural identity in children and youth of the Morroy Indigenous Cabildo through a community pedagogy proposal. For this purpose, a methodology with a qualitative approach and participatory design was used. The study involved 22 fifth-grade students, and 20 families selected through convenience sampling. Interviews, focus groups and participant observation were conducted, under ethical principles and informed consent. The results showed a significant increase in cultural knowledge and appreciation of Zenú identity, as well as greater community participation in the preservation of their cultural heritage. These pedagogical strategies proved to be effective in fostering social cohesion and transmitting cultural values. It is concluded, therefore, that culturally relevant educational approaches are essential to preserve ethnic identity and promote cultural sustainability in indigenous communities, proposing community pedagogy as a replicable model in other similar contexts.
