Analysis of the crystal structure and intermolecular interactions in a Cu(II) pivalate compound with isonicotinamide by the Hirshfeld method
Hirshfeld analysis was used to examine the intermolecular interactions in the crystal structure of the [Cu(piv)₂(ina)₂] complex (where nia = isonicotinamide; Hpiv = pivalic acid). The studied complex exhibits stable behavior and could be used in various applications such as chemical catalysis, functional materials and biomolecular research. Hirshfeld analysis provides detailed information on how intermolecular interactions influence the stability and physico-chemical properties of the complex.
