Functional alternative energy storage optimal configuration of distribution network considering the active safety management system

At the end of the distribution network, represented by remote mountainous areas and islands, there are problems of insufficient power supply capacity, high risk of failure and relatively poor power supply reliability. The method of configuring functional alternative energy storage can effectively improve the power supply capacity at the end of the distribution network. Adding an active safety management system to the configured energy storage power station can reduce plant operation and maintenance personnel costs, extend the life of the power plant, reduce the risk of battery combustion and explosion, and reduce battery downtime. This is conducive to improving the economy and safety of energy storage operation and maintenance. Therefore, this paper proposes an optimal configuration model of energy storage considering the active safety management system of energy storage. The model aims at the total cost of the full life cycle (25 years) and is constrained by ensuring the power supply of the load. Considering the influence of the operation strategy on the life loss, the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the problem. Finally, the results of an example verify the effectiveness of the configuration model proposed in this paper.
