Universal Diabetes Prediction: An API Solution Leveraging Docker and Azure for Scalable Deployment and Accessibility
The integration of machine learning (ML) into decision-making processes has become indispensable across various industries, driving the need for efficient and scalable deployment strategies. This paper presents a systematic approach for deploying ML models as Dockerized APIs on the Microsoft Azure platform. By leveraging containerization, the methodology ensures consistency, portability, and ease of integration into diverse systems, streamlining the deployment process. The proposed framework utilizes Docker to encapsulate the ML model and its dependencies, enabling standardized and environment-independent deployment. Microsoft Azure’s cloud infrastructure offers a scalable and robust environment for hosting these APIs, ensuring high availability and performance. Key features of the deployment process include automated monitoring, dynamic resource allocation, and seamless scaling to handle fluctuating workloads efficiently. Performance evaluation of the deployed system was conducted using critical metrics, including latency, throughput, and scalability. The results demonstrated significant improvements in response times and system reliability, validating the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. Azure’s integrated monitoring tools provided real-time insights into system performance, aiding in proactive issue resolution and optimization. This study also addresses common challenges in cloud-based ML deployments, such as resource contention, deployment complexity, and system integration, offering practical solutions to mitigate these issues. This paper provides a comprehensive blueprint for deploying ML models as Dockerized APIs on Azure, emphasizing scalability, efficiency, and accessibility. This approach serves as a foundation for organizations seeking to harness the power of ML in production environments, offering a streamlined pathway for transforming predictive models into actionable insights on a global scale.
