AI and IoT Integration for Chronic Disease Management in Smart Healthcare
Putting Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) together could change the way smart healthcare systems handle chronic diseases. Chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart problems need to be constantly monitored and treated individually. This can be done by combining AI and IoT technologies. Wearable monitors, health apps, and online tracking tools are examples of IoT devices that can collect real-time data about patients, such as their vital signs, exercise levels, and the conditions of their surroundings. This data is processed by AI algorithms, such as machine learning and deep learning models, which give predictions, find early warning signs, and make personalized suggestions for how to help. This essay looks at how combining AI and IoT can help improve the tracking and treatment of long-term illnesses, with the main goal of improving patient results and lowering healthcare costs. We suggest a framework in which IoT devices are effortlessly linked to AI-powered systems. This would allow for continuous data analysis, the discovery of anomalies, and the creation of personalized treatment plans. The paper also talks about problems like data privacy, security issues, and the need for a strong healthcare system. Case studies and real-life cases are also used to show how AI and IoT could be used together to help control chronic diseases. The results show that this combination might make healthcare more effective, quick, and personalized, encouraging patients to take charge of their health and making people with chronic conditions happier with their lives.
