Enhancing Immersive Experiences in Virtual Art Galleries: Design and Evaluation of the BITSCOPE VR Application
Virtual art galleries offer a novel and engaging experience for both novice and experienced VR headset users. The paper presents the capabilities of BITSCOPE, a virtual gallery application developed using the Unity engine. The system's functionality was evaluated in terms of user experience (UX) through structured questionnaires. Additionally, eye-tracking data collected via the HTC Vive Pro Eye headset was used to validate the survey results. Based on the analysis, a set of guidelines was formulated to enhance immersion in a virtual reality.
