Stabilization control technology of airborne optoelectronic targeting system based on adaptive algorithm
The airborne optoelectronic targeting system is a crucial element of information-centric aerial combat capabilities in contemporary warfare. It is equipped with sensors, including television and infrared cameras, capable of acquiring high-resolution images with an adjustable field of view. It is capable of conducting day and night battle field search and reconnaissance, automatic target detection and identification tracking, laser designation, laser ranging, and other combat operations. Laser communication is an international research hotspot, and has been successfully applied to the satellites, as well as between the satellite and the ground. Laser communication technology enables secure, high-velocity, and disturbance-resistant covert communication. It can realize the rapid transmission of future battle field combat information, and is a very promising direction for the development of airborne optoelectronic technology. During mission execution, the optoelectronic targeting system must maintain a stable field of view to detect the battle field environment and track the target, while the laser communication must possess a highly stable laser link to ensure communication efficiency. Therefore, the airborne optoelectronic pod must have an effective stability control system to overcome the severe vibration caused by the helicopter or airplane flight. Combining the common requirements of airborne optoelectronic targeting system and laser communication technology, this paper designs a stabilized position controller based on the Youla parameterization method, and realizes the adaptive controller by using an adaptive filter composed of the least-mean-square algorithm and a transversal filter. This paper simulates the inner loop system of a common two-axis four-frame optoelectronic pod, and verifies the effect of tracking a typical moving target and the effect of vibration suppression in coarse tracking state in laser communication, respectively. The results show that the proposed method in this paper realizes smaller tracking error and better vibration suppression effect than the traditional proportional-integral-derivative control method.
