Scalable in-situ self-assembly of perovskite quantum dots for nanopatterning and nano-pixelated light emitting diodes fabrication
Long-range-ordered superlattices of quantum dots, such as lead halide perovskites have emerged as pivotal materials for the fabrication of optoelectronic devices due to their unique properties. A wettability-based approach is proposed to fabricate nanoscale arrays of superlattices with desired geometries, allowing for the fabrication of superlattices arrays with dot size down to 200nm and spacing as small as 150nm. The radiation pattern can be easily engineered by adjusting the array geometry. Finally, this method has also been used for the fabrication of patterned superlattices-based light emitting diodes with submicron pixel size.
