Regulating the organic moieties in perovskite solar cells
Metal halide perovskite has emerged as a promising semiconductor for photovoltaics due to its unique optoelectronic properties. Unlike traditional inorganic semiconductors such as Si and GaAs, perovskite's organic-inorganic hybrid structure introduces significant scientific challenges, such as unique defect physics, crystallization control, and structural stability. These issues diverge from conventional semiconductor theories, necessitating new approaches. This talk primarily focuses on the unique organic structure in perovskite semiconductor photovoltaic materials and devices. Centering on this non-traditional compositional characteristic, our recent research progress in the regulation of the organic moieties towards highly efficient and stable perovskite solar cells is introduced.
