Organic spacers for high primary-color emission efficiency and stability of perovskite light emitting diodes
By ligand design, we will discuss the influences of the phase distribution, carrier transfer, and confinement on low-dimensional perovskite-based LEDs, including quasi-2D perovskites and nanocrystals (NCs). For quasi-2D perovskite LEDs (PeLEDs) we can modulate the n-phase distribution, carrier transfer and confinement [4], and ion migration to improve PeLED performances. For NC PeLEDs, we will design the side-branches for good NC dispersion and high electrical conduction and then optimize the spacing between functional groups to match the surface pattern of PeNCs to improve PeLED efficiency and stability. Overall, red-green-blue PeLEDs performances can be significantly improved by designing the ligand structures.
