Expanding NIR-IIc nanothermometry: architectural control of Tm 3+ -doped NaGdF 4 core/shell nanoparticles
Rational architectural design of Tm 3+ -based core/(multi)shell nanoparticles co-doped with either Er 3+ or Ho 3+ allows for high-sensitivity temperature sensing in the NIR-IIc spectral region between 1500 and 2000 nm.
