Advancements in quantum dot-based LEDs towards intrinsically stretchable light sources
Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) have emerged as a transformative class of materials for next-generation light-emitting diodes (LEDs), offering exceptional color purity, tunability, and high brightness. However, key challenges remain in achieving mechanical deformability in QD-based LEDs, limiting their applications in wearable technology and healthcare. In this talk, I will discuss our recent strategies in imparting mechanical deformability to QDs solids, which leads to the development of the first intrinsically fully stretchable perovskite QDs-LEDs.
