Pengaruh Sektor Pariwisata terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di 7 Kabupaten dan Kota Jawa Barat Tahun 2018-2024

Abstract. The tourism sector is one of Indonesia's leading sectors. The magnitude of tourism potential can encourage the country's economic growth through its contribution to GRDP. Including one of them, West Java province as one of the provinces with the highest GRDP value on the island of Java. West Java Province includes 7 regencies and cities that are most dominant in contributing to the economy including Bandung City, Bogor Regency, West Bandung Regency, Bandung Regency, Pangandaran Regency, Subang Regency, and Garut Regency. This study aims to analyze the effect of the tourism sector on economic growth in 7 districts and cities of West Java in 2018-2024. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The analysis method used in this research is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. Based on the results of the study, it shows that Tourism Attraction, Number of Tourist Visits, and Regional Original Revenue (PAD) from the tourism sector have a positive and significant effect on regional economic growth. This research confirms the importance of developing the tourism sector as one of the drivers of economic growth. This can be a concern for the government to encourage the tourism sector to become a potential sector in driving economic growth in West Java Province. Abstrak. Sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor unggulan Indonesia. Besarnya potensi pariwisata, dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi negara lewat kontribusinya terhadap PDRB. Termasuk salah satunya, provinsi Jawa Barat sebagai salah satu provinsi dengan nilai PDRB tertinggi di Pulau Jawa. Provinsi Jawa Barat didalamnya terdapat 7 kabupaten dan kota yang paling dominan memberikan kontribusi perekonomian diantaranya Kota Bandung, Kabupaten Bogor, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Kabupaten Bandung, Kabupaten Pangandaran, Kabupaten Subang, dan Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sektor pariwisata terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di 7 Kabupaten dan Kota Jawa Barat Tahun 2018-2024. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Daya Tarik Wisata, Jumlah Kunjungan Wisatawan, dan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dari sektor pariwisata berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan sektor pariwisata sebagai salah satu pendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hal ini dapat menjadi perhatian bagi pemerintah untuk mendorong sektor pariwisata menjadi sektor potensial dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jawa Barat.
