Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Pertumbuhan Penduduk, dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia terhadap Kualitas Lingkungan Hidup di Indonesia, Tahun 2010-2024

Abstract. Environmental issues have become increasingly complex and urgent global concerns. Indonesia is also facing phenomena such as climate change, increased greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, deforestation, air and water quality degradation, and biodiversity loss. This study aims to analyze the impact of economic growth, population growth, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on environmental quality in Indonesia from 2010 to 2024. Using a descriptive quantitative approach and secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), this study applies a multiple linear regression model using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The results of the classical assumption test show that the model is free from assumption violations. The findings indicate that economic growth has a negative but insignificant effect on environmental quality (coefficient -0.206760; sig. 0.410). Population growth has a negative and significant effect (coefficient -13.48887; sig. 0.079), while HDI has a positive and significant effect (coefficient 1.166923; sig. 0.015). The three variables explain 81.54% of the variation in environmental quality, while the remaining 18.46% is influenced by other factors outside the model. 0,410). Pertumbuhan penduduk berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan (koefisien -13,48887; sig. 0,079), sementara IPM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan (koefisien 1,166923; sig. 0,015). Ketiga variabel menjelaskan 81,54% variasi kualitas lingkungan hidup, sedangkan sisanya 18,46% dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar model.
