Photoactivated Self‐Assembled Nanomicelles Integrating Mitophagy Inhibition to Enhance Pyroptosis for Cancer Immunotherapy (Adv. Funct. Mater. 37/2025)
Photoimmunotherapy In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202504384), Yuqi Tang, Quan Li, and co-workers report a photoactivated, mitochondria-targeting self-assembled nanomicelle that combines a photosensitizer and an autophagy inhibitor. This nanomicelle facilitates synergistic phototherapy under light irradiation, effectively suppressing tumor proliferation while enhancing pyroptosis through mitophagy inhibition. Additionally, it amplifies anti-tumor immune responses, significantly improving overall anti-tumor efficacy.
