Outstanding biologist – Nobel Prize laureats

Aim. To study the contribution of prominent biologists who received the Nobel Prize, analyze the discoveries and assess their impact on the development of science, medicine and biotechnology. Methods. A literature review of the works of the laureates, a historical analysis of their contribution to the development of biological sciences, a comparative analysis of the significance of discoveries in various fields of biology and medicine, as well as systematization of information to identify key trends and prospects for further research were conducted. Results. The discoveries of the Nobel laureates have made a significant contribution to the development of biology and medicine. The results obtained have become the basis for the creation of new treatments, the development of genetic engineering antibiotic therapy, and paleogenomics. Conclusions. The discoveries of Nobel – Prize – winning biologists have made a significant contribution to the development of biology and medicine, as well as to our understanding of life. The further development of these areas opens up prospects for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of life and the development of the latest biotechnologies that can change the future of medicine and science in general.
